It's almost as if Facebook has killed the personal blog--even my own! Very few of my friends post on their blogs anymore. There's some downside to it, though. For one, since most Facebook pages aren't private, there's no way to meet people that you aren't really "friends" with. I have several blogs that I visit who are "Internet only" friends; we've never actually met in person. And, I met them through their blogs. If they were only using Facebook, I would've never met them. Also, the archiving/searching of Facebook is horrible/non-existent. "Where are those photos I posted three months ago?"
