Home Sweet Home

So…uh…I neglected to mention it, but we’re finally all moved in to our new house in Richmond. It’s our last week at our home church, which is kind of bittersweet. Now begins the arduous journey of unpacking (and re-organizing). Thankfully, I’m off from work next week – something tells me I’ll be doing work of a different sort…

For the curious, here are some pictures of the outside, which is much more impressive-looking than the inside…

Yeah, I’m very happy with the exterior. I think that’s where they did all their best work.

I’m considering having my paycheck auto-deposited into a Home Depot account for the next few months…

  2. Good looking house! Just two of you, right? Looks like a lot of space. I’ve got five in my house, and it’s not as big as yours.

Just the two of us for now…we’re thinking ahead, and also trying to accomodate my music and Carla’s sewing so we both have “our” rooms. As it is, there’s 1.5 rooms in this house completely unoccupied at the moment, and another we’re just using for storage of stuff that we can’t fit anywhere else.

Sometime (waaayyyy) down the road, we’d like to build a 2-story garage, and put a little recording studio on the second floor. Someday when every penny isn’t already spent on the house…:)
