Apparently, VH1 Classic filmed a special about a small group of rock musicians of Jewish heritage celebrating passover. According to this article, Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and a few others got together for a meal of matzo and bitter herbs recently. (Hat tip: the Boar’s Head Tavern)
As if that wasn’t weird enough, Snider gives us an idea for a bizarro mash-up:
“The problem with ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’ is, it comes from me singing in the church choir ’til I was 19,” he says. “It bears a remarkable resemblance to ‘O Come, All Ye Faithful.’ “
Remixers of the world – the gauntlet has been thrown.
