After seeing Super Size Me, Carla mentioned that she thought it would be an important film to show kids at school (if they did some edits to get rid of some minor “objectionable” content). Looks like that’s exactly what Morgan Spurlock is planning to do:

In the afternoon I went to Sound One and watched the mix of the “Family Version” of the film. We’ve made many edits and changes to make the film OK for all ages (or at least 10 y.o. for parents who don’t like their kids hearing any cursing or sexual references.) A good thing considering I will spend the fall meeting with parents, teachers and boards of education about changing school lunch programs, physical eduction and nutrition education. We need a version elementary school teachers can confidently show their kids.

Cool.

  1. Interestingly enough, the majority of these same people who are confused about how to permanently lose fat, avoid any type of bodybuilding fitness or diet program like the plague.
